B. The thematic seminar
The thematic seminar of the theme 2 has taken place in Flaam, in Western Norway the 10 and 11th of May 2006.
The objectives if this 2-day seminar were to introduce the results of the local studies, to highlight the good practices and the measures of the local authorities that have proven their pertinence, efficacy and efficiency, and open the debate (through discussions, workshops and a round table) on these practices with the participants in order to identify common proposals to promote intersectorial cooperation.
This seminar concerned in particular any person who works or represents local and regional authorities from mountain areas in Europe and whose participation enabled to establish proposals better adapted to constrains and situations met in these structures.
